Jeff and Tony were arguing (as usual). This time it was about what to name their flagship espresso blend. “Has to be something good”, said Tony. “What?” Said Jeff. “Good”, said Tony. “Has to be something good!” “What?” Said Jeff. “Hard to hear you when the Red Line train is passing overhead!” And that’s how it was named.

The Redline Espresso is my favorite coffee made my favorite way - with an AeroPress.
There’s no bitterness and such a flavorful cup! Adding cream is a thing of the past when I have the Redline Espresso.
Oh, and I get it shipped to California!
Once upon a time there was a little roasterie in the Edgewater neighborhood of Chicago. The first coffee I ever bought there was Redline Espresso, which I brewed as coffee and not espresso. I loved the Redline Espresso and continued to buy it, but then the little roasterie started growing and growing and growing. Soon it became a huge roasterie known all over the nation, and left its Redline at the station (or maybe I left it behind. Not sure). I’m so happy to have it back and will never forsake it again, if it was my fault.
Not only is the coffee really good, but having a subscription makes it convenient.
Our whole family are fans.
One day I asked the guy at work wearing the Marzocco espresso machine jacket - their thank you for all his business, what sort of beans he was drinking. He immediately said "Redline!" and I have heeded his recommendation since that day many years ago. The balanced, robust flavor profile, the proper medium roasting and consistently delicious espresso from our Rancilio Silvia get our most hearty and full-throated endorsement.
